Welders pay attention to the following matters when welding:
1. Prevent burns and fires caused by splashing metal.
2. Prevent the harm of arc light radiation to the human body. 3. To prevent some harmful gas poisoning. 4. When welding pressure vessels, prevent welding explosion. 5. When working at heights, wear seat belts and helmets.
6. Be careful to avoid electric shock accidents.
What are the basic requirements for safety technology when performing manual arc welding? Manual arc welding can be divided into four categories: flat welding, vertical welding, horizontal welding and overhead welding according to the welding position. There are the following basic requirements in terms of safety technology for manual arc welding: l. The shell and workbench of the welding machine must be well grounded. 2. The no-load voltage of the welding machine should be between 60~90V. 3. Electric welding equipment should use power switch with electric insurance and should be installed in a closed box. 4. Before using the welding machine, it is necessary to carefully check whether the insulation of the primary and secondary wires is complete, and whether the wiring is well insulated. 5. When the welding equipment is connected to the power network, the human body should not touch the live parts. 6. When welding indoors or outdoors, light shields must be installed around to prevent the arc light from hurting the eyes of the staff. 7. Welders must be equipped with safety equipment such as masks with suitable filter plates, dry canvas overalls, gloves, rubber insulation and slag removal protective white light glasses. 8. The welding insulation cord shall not be less than 5m, the cord shall not be placed on the body during welding, and the ground wire shall not be stepped on under the feet. 9. It is strictly forbidden to weld while hoisting the parts.
10. After the welding is completed, the power switch should be opened in time.
