1 Preparation before welding: Read the welding process card to understand the material of the welding workpiece, required equipment, tools and related process parameters; check whether the welding machine, gas supply system, water supply system, and grounding are in good condition; check whether the workpiece is qualified.
2 Wire feeding: The outer filling wire can be used for priming and filling. It uses a large current. The welding wire head is on the front of the groove, the left hand squeezes the welding wire, and it is continuously fed into the molten pool for welding. The groove gap is required to be small or not. gap.
3 Welding handle: The shaking handle is to press the welding tip slightly on the welding seam, and the arm shakes greatly to weld. The mop is the welding tip lightly or not on the welding seam, the little finger or ring finger of the right hand is also on or not on the workpiece, the arm swings small, and the welding handle is dragged for welding.
4 Arc ignition: arc ignition is generally used arc ignition (high-frequency oscillator or high-frequency pulse generator), the tungsten electrode and the weldment do not contact the arc ignition, and contact arc ignition is used when there is no arc ignition device (mostly used for construction site installation, especially High-altitude installation), copper or graphite can be placed on the groove of the weldment to start the arc, but this method is more troublesome and less used. Generally, the welding wire is lightly drawn to make the weldment and the tungsten electrode directly short-circuit and quickly disconnect to ignite arc.
5 Welding: After the arc is ignited, it should be preheated at the beginning of the weldment for 3-5 seconds, and the wire will be fed after the molten pool is formed. When welding, the angle of the welding torch should be appropriate, and the feeding of the welding wire should be uniform. The welding torch should move forward steadily, and the left and right swings should be slightly slower on the two sides and slightly faster in the middle.
6 Arc ending: If the arc ending is at the joint, the joint should be ground into an oblique mouth first, and after the joint is fully melted, the arc should be welded forward 10-20mm, and then the arc should be slowly closed to avoid shrinkage.
